Our trip to Melaka

Uncle Jesse is off today. About 9am, everyone is ready to go out. We're going to Melaka today. We're driving two car because after Melaka, we will be going back to Singapore. While grandma, uncle Jesse and Aunty Ita will be back to KL.

On the way to Melaka, grandma follows our car because she wants to spend more time with me. Hehe.... I sit at the back of the car to accompany my grandma. Actually, I just want to play with grandma's handphone.

Yeah... we arrive at Melaka and park our car. Now, we are going to walk to the Famous Chicken Rice Ball that introduce by Ah Xian in AEC channel. I think that's the only place that we must go everything we bring families and friends to Melaka.
Hey... this is the famous decorated trishaw in Melaka.

The Windmill model that located at the Dutch Square Area.

The Queen Victoria Fountain.

Wow.... I'm on the beautiful Trishaw that is well decorated with flowers, flags, personal collections and with LOUD music. The trishaw will take you through streets and corners of Melaka's historic city center.

I'm back to the stop point. Let's walk down the alley to check up every stalls. There's a lot of special little things and handcrafts.

Aunty Ita bought this little pink umbrella. Daddy borrow it to take a photo with mommy. Hehe....

Now we are going to visit the Muzeum of Ethnography is located at the Stadhuys which is built in 1650 as the official residence of the Dutch governors. Let's go..... learn about Melaka's history, local culture and traditions.

The museum portrays the lifestyle of the different communities and sub-communities that make up the population of Melaka - the Malays, the Chinese, the Indians, the Portuguese, the Baba and Nyonya, the Chetti and Chitty communities.

Among the exhibits on display are items used in traditional wedding ceremonies, kitchen utensils, musical instruments and collections of ancient porcelain ware. There are also collections of ancient weapons, stamps and various currencies.

The first floor of the Historical and Ethnography Museum is devoted to the history of Melaka which in reality is the early history of Malaysia. It covers the period from the founding of Melaka to the establishment of independent Federation of Malaya. The exhibits provide a true reflection of early Melaka, its existence as a colony, the struggle for independence and the rapid development of post-independence Melaka.

This is the photo of the Dutch Square that mommy takes from first floor.

After the muzeum, we going back to the old town there to take a walk. Uncle Jesse said there's a very famous Ice Kacang Gula Melaka at the end. That's good..... I'm so hot and thirsty now.
Hmm.... the Ice Kacang is really nice and refreshing. They sell a lot of homemade sauce and biscuit. Grandma choose a few different one to bring back to KL.
Then, Aunty Ita wants to continue to wallk down the road. But daddy is too tired to walk. So, we walk back to take our car and go back to Singapore.
Bye Bye grandma, Aunty Ita and Uncle Jesse. Have fun and have a safe journey back to KL. See you next time.
