My first time at Singapore Zoo

This weekend, my aunty planned to visit the Singapore Zoo. This morning we all wake up at about 8am to get ready and start driving to pick up my aunty at her place. She bought us the breakfast and drink that we can have it outside the zoo before we enter.

The first thing we do when we get there is to take a photo. Hehe.... showing that I'm at Singapore Zoo already.

After the breakfast, we all enter the zoo and I see a crocodile at the side of the garden. I'm so excited and quickly run over and climb up the crocodile.

I try to jump on it. Hehe.... I don't think it can last long.

Yeah.... it is mine now. I got to bring it home later.

I would like to share this crocodile with my cousin and my new friend. Our victory.....

Wah.... daddy carry me on his shoulder. I can see more things from here.

The first animal that we see.... that is crocodile. It's moving around in its pond and I can see it open it's mouth wide. Got a lot of sharp teeths inside. So scary....
It's almost the Elephant's Showtime. We have to rush inside to get a place to sit.
This is the elephant water fountain in front of the entrance, so special and cute.

Wow.... the first big elephant coming out with a mahout sitting on top of it. The mahout is the person who will guide the elephant in whatever it do.

The elephant is showing how strong he is. It can carry a big timber and go for a short walk.

The elephants are so good boy. When the mahouts say lay down, all of them will listen and do as they say.

It's a very very hot day. Fortunately, mommy brought this fan out with us just now. Or else, I wil become roast Brycen already. Hahaha......

The Orang Utans are arboreal mammals who spend most part of their lives eating, sleeping, nesting and traveling in the trees. They feed on fruits, leaves, seeds, bark and insects of the rainforest.
There's free ranging areas comprise tall trees, thick branches, abundant foliage and vines which replicate the animals’ natural environment. The branches and vines encourage the orang utans to brachiate, or move by swinging with the arms from one hold to another.

There is a large, 3.5-metre deep pool to allow the polar bears to cool off, an air-conditioned den and a separate cubbing den for rearing cubs. Live fish are released so that the polar bears can go `fishing' as they would in the wild. Pieces of fruit and meat frozen in ice blocks are thrown in for the bears to toss and discover the goodies as the ice melts away, not forgetting toys such as traffic cones for the bears' amusement as well.

The zoo is too big, it's really a bit tiring to walk. So, my aunty go and buy the tram ride tickets for all of us. It's unlimited, so we can take anytime and anywhere we want. We passby a lot of beautiful view around the zoo and also the animals.

Now we know which animal at which place and we going to take the tram again to see the White Rhino from Africa. They are ranked as the second largest living land mammal after the elephants. These creatures may seem awfully bulky but they can run rather fast, so beware!

This is the Hippopotamus, it is swimming inside the pool. It is big but can swim quite fast.

Oh..... we are so lucky to see the hippo coming up from the water. It's so wonderful!!
White Tigers are often mistaken for albinos, which are completely white with pink eyes. The unusual white coloration is a result of gene mutation, a permanent change in the gene controlling the coat coloration and the change can be passed on from one generation to another. The mutated gene is a recessive gene, meaning two such genes are needed to produce the white coloration.

Oh.... it is so tiring. Mommy.... can you carry me for a while.

This is the deer. We see them while we are on the tram. They all seems enjoying their snack.
I'm so hot and hungry. Hmm....this little fan look good and tasty to me.

Finally, we are at the end of the journey. Now everyone is visiting the Souvenir Shop located just before the exit. Huh......tiring day. But I have learnt quite a lot today.

These orchids look so beautiful. Mommy going to take pictures of those orchid for my aunty in Miri to see. She likes the orchids very very much.
